To directly control this GL1800 electrical unit from your bike audio controls, the user only needs to insert a SD card or USB stick, then you are set to enjoy digital music (MP3/WMA) on your bike.

Adding files to the unit could not be simpler -- you can use any Windows® PC equipped with an SD card reader or USB port (depending on how you want to store your music) no special software is required -- just load your music files into numbered folders and you're good to go.  

Depending on the model of your motorcycle the player supports different music loads as follows 

2001 to 2010 Standard and Premium Audio Models

Folders 1 to 9 with 99 files in each folder

2006 to 2010 Navigation and Airbag Models (Excluding XM)

Folders 1 to 6 with 99 files in each folder

2009 to 2010 Factory XM Equipped Models

Folders 1 to 9 with 99 files in each folder

Please Note This Unit Does Not Support Patriot Brand Memory Cards

Shuffle Or Random Modes Are Not Supported The Design Of The OEM Controls Just Allows For FOLDER +/- And TRACK +/- 

Please note that factory Navigation equipped bikes require extra hardware to allow track and disc numbers to display correctly this is why the navigation unit costs $10 extra. Select the correct unit when ordering.
